Lynx - World's Endangered Cat


The scientific name for Lynx is Lynx pardinus and it commonly called as pardel lynx and Spanish lynx. Lynx generally located in Southern Europe, Portugal, Spain and Mediterranean Forests. Lynx relocate and kill other carnivores like foxes, Egyptian mongooses, and feral cats and dogs; to ensure sufficient supplies of rabbit populations and to protect their offspring.

The female Lynx weight is about 37 kg - 57 kg, and the male lynx is about 40 kg - 62 kg. The gestation period for Lynxis 70 Days, and breeding takes place in winter, i.e., in the month of May or June. Its Lifespan is about 12 to 18 years. For last two centuries, its population has been decreased.

Black Caiman - World's Largest Alligator


The scientific name for Black Caiman is Melanosuchus nige, is one of the largest of all alligator species. It generally found in South America, these species are depleted by overhunting, but rarely seen in nowadays. It is largest reptile in the world and its length is about 5 meters, and has dark scaly skin in its body.

Black Caiman feeds on turtles, fish, birds and deer. Black Caiman have powerful neck, tails and jaws and can grow up to 60cm. Black Caiman lives only in water , because of their skin type and it’s an carnivore animal. This species protect themselves from predator and it has dark skin.

Leatherback Turtle - World's Biggest turtle

Then scientific name for Leatherback turtle is Dermochelys coriacea. The leatherback is the largest living turtle and the only sea turtle that lacks a hard shell. The leatherback turtle height is 4 to 6 feet and its weight is about 660 to 1,100 pounds. The diet of leatherback turtle is jellyfish. It usually found in Open Ocean, northern part of Alaska, and southern part of Africa.

Ever recorded largest leatherback turtle found on the West Coast of Wales and weighs is about 916 kg.Leatherbacks have in history been taken only infrequently for their meat. The utmost threat used to be to their eggs, and this threat still exists. There are not as many eggs to poach these days; however, because smaller amount leatherbacks show up to nest. Bumblebee Bats - World's Smallest Bats


Bumblebee Bats is also known as Kitti’s Hog-nosed Bat, and usually found in western region of Thailand and recently discovered in Myanmar. Bumblebee Bats is the world's smallest bat and is one of the smallest mammals in the world.

This species size is about 1.1 to 1.3 inches in their length and its wingspan is about 6.7 inches, weighs is 2g. Bumblebee bat has no tail and its upper body colour is either reddish or brown or grey and its underside is pale colour. The diet for Bumblebee Bats is small insects and their reproduction is on the month of April.

Hag Fish - Myxine glutinosa



The scientific name for hag fish is Myxine glutinosa and it belongs to the family Myxini. The Atlantic hagfish is a deep-water fish, which are almost blind, but have well developed senses of touch and smell.

Myxine (Hag Fish) are generally about 18 inches long with no eyes, have long eel like bodies and tails and the color of the fish range from pink to blue containing black or white spots on their body. This species don’t have any fins or jaw, but instead they have six barbs around the mouth area as well as along on a single nostril.

Hagfish contains 3 accessory hearts with no cerebrum and cerebellum, even no jaws and stomach too and it’s closely related to some primitive creatures such as the lampreys. Myxine easily escape from the predatory fish. Hagfish can be seen in every ocean except in North Atlantic and usually live in cold water.

Satanic leaf-tailed gecko

The scientific name for Satanic Leaf Tailed Gecko is Uroplatus phantasticus and is also called as Eyelash leaf tailed gecko and Fantastic leaf tailed gecko, and found in Madagascar. An adult Leaf Tailed Gecko is normally 3 – 6cm long including their tail and its weight is about 10g t0 30g.

Gecko is solitary species and usually brown in color, but it can also be in deep yellow, purple and deep orange color. They have black dots on their upper side of their body, and it has sticky scales under their toes and fingers which helps them to stick on the trees.

Gecko can be easily escaped from the predator’s like rats, snakes, owl, eagles etc. Gecko is a carnivore’s reptile and feeds on insects, flies, worms and spiders and its life span is about 4 to 8 years.
