The Australian Masked Owl is a barn owl of South Guinea and usually found in non-desert areas of Australia. The scientific name for masked owl is Tyto novaeholiandiae. Its body is covered with brown feathers surround with white, heart-shaped mask, and their coat is brown with light gray spots on their upper back, and their color varies from black to dark brown. Masked owl is the largest owl in Australia and it considered as the powerful owl, and its weight is about 660g and their wings generally span about 35 to 47 cm.
