Albinism is a inherited disorder characterized by the complete or partial absence of pigment in the skin, hair and eyes due to absence or defect of an enzyme involved in the production of melanin. Albinism results from inheritance of recessive gene alleles and is known to affect all vertebrates, including humans.

 While an organism with complete absence of melanin is called an albino an organism with only a diminished amount of melanin is described as albinoid. An animal or plant with a marked deficiency in pigmentation.

Two Headed Turtle - Rarest Species

The two headed turtle is one of the rarest species in the world and it’s generally found in Florida. The pet store owner, Casey got the two-headed turtle from a man in Florida. Usually this kind of rigorously malformed turtles die soon after birth, but Casey says that this one could be alive when we protect it safely. Special Precaution have been taken like feeding each head by hand, otherwise they will each other with their little pellets. Alas, the popular pet was eventually stolen from the pet store.

Hyacinth Macaw - Endangered and Largest Flying Parrot Species

The scientific name for Hyacinth Macaw is Anodorhynchus hyacinthinus, and generally known as Hyacinthine Macaw. It usually found in central and eastern South America. This parrot length is about 100 cm i.e., 3.3 feet, it’s longer than any other species of parrot. This species wing is about 388 - 425 mm long. It is the largest flying parrot species in the world.

The diet for this species is nuts from native palms, such as acuri and bocaiuva palms. With the help of strong beaks it can break the hard nuts and seeds. Even it can able to break the coconuts too. Nesting takes place in the month of July and December.

The habitat of Stone fish includes shallow water, coral reefs. The Stone fish size is about 30 cm. People swimming in the ocean have to take care, because they can unknowingly hit on the stone fish and inject venom on their foot.

The Queen Alexandra birdwing is the largest and rarest butterfly in the world and its scientific name is Ornithoptera alexandrae. Its wingspan is about 25 cm and is larger than the many birds. This species usually found in New Guinea and Australia and generally live in lowland tropical forest. The male and female butterfly is varying in their size, color, shape and body color; but female is larger than the male butterfly. The diet of this species consist only liquid food. This butterfly is very poisonous and so if the animals eat this butterfly will get into sick; animals may avoid eating those butterflies with similar markings in the future.

King Brown Snake - World's Deadliest Snake

The Scientific name of King Brown snake is Pseudechis australis, and also commonly called as Mulga Snake. The King Brown snake is not actually a brown snake, but it belongs to one of the black snake family. This specimen is seen in different colors like mid-brown, coppery-tinge, grey, and black in color.

King browns are vigorous snakes with a broad head and its length over 2.5 meters. It usually found in Australia except the east and south coastal areas. The diet for king Brown snake is lizard, snakes, birds, mammals, and frogs. The female king brown snake lay 8 to 20 eggs. It usually found in Australia except Tasmania and Victoria.
