White Peacock -Pavo

The scientific name for white peacock is Pavo. The white peacock found in Italy, Africa. The White Peacock is commonly mistaken for an albino, but it is a colour range of Indian Blue Peacock. Its white colour makes it looks really wonderful and graceful. White peacocks are the same as the Indian Blue in size and behavior, but this one is white in colour.

In the wild, male Peacocks usually collect a harem of 2 - 5 females. However, in captivity, they are generally satisfied with one. The male has an extremely long tai(trains) which is not actually his tail. The trains serve as a cover for the real tail, which is brown in colour. The train essentially sprouts from the center of the back. Peacocks grow up to 7 inch from tip of beak to end of train.
