Bumblebee Bats - World's Smallest Bats


Bumblebee Bats is also known as Kitti’s Hog-nosed Bat, and usually found in western region of Thailand and recently discovered in Myanmar. Bumblebee Bats is the world's smallest bat and is one of the smallest mammals in the world.

This species size is about 1.1 to 1.3 inches in their length and its wingspan is about 6.7 inches, weighs is 2g. Bumblebee bat has no tail and its upper body colour is either reddish or brown or grey and its underside is pale colour. The diet for Bumblebee Bats is small insects and their reproduction is on the month of April.
