The scientific name for Satanic Leaf Tailed Gecko is Uroplatus phantasticus and is also called as Eyelash leaf tailed gecko and Fantastic leaf tailed gecko, and found in Madagascar. An adult Leaf Tailed Gecko is normally 3 – 6cm long including their tail and its weight is about 10g t0 30g.
Gecko is solitary species and usually brown in color, but it can also be in deep yellow, purple and deep orange color. They have black dots on their upper side of their body, and it has sticky scales under their toes and fingers which helps them to stick on the trees.
Gecko can be easily escaped from the predator’s like rats, snakes, owl, eagles etc. Gecko is a carnivore’s reptile and feeds on insects, flies, worms and spiders and its life span is about 4 to 8 years.
